Sunday School is held following the coffee half-hour. There is a service for children during the service & on our fifth Sunday Morning Prayer the sermon is given by our children’s leader with the children at the chancel steps.
Service as Worship Leader, Lector, or Eucharistic Minister is open to adults with a particular love of worship. Youth and children serve as acolytes and ushers, with occasional assistance by adults.
St John’s Bell Choir is open to all and plays frequently throughout the year.
Altar & Flower Guild members make all preparation for worship at St. John and for those to whom communion is taken. They also arrange seasonal flowers and special flowers for weddings and funerals.
Pastoral Care is a ministry shared by everyone under the leadership of our Pastoral Care Ministers. Visiting the sick, preparing meals for emergencies, and keeping in touch with each other provide for a strong body who in turn seeks to meet the needs of the community as well.
Our Votive Candle Stand is located in the Chapel of St. John’s for prayers
